“Testing of Dielectric Materials for High Voltage Equipments”, Date 18/2/17 at SRICT.

About the workshop:
Under the banner of IEI SRICT Students’ Chapter, the Electrical Engineering Department is organizing a one day workshop on “Testing of Dielectric Materials for High Voltage Equipments”. The workshop is intended to disseminate the knowledge on High voltage testing, measurements, and evaluation of test results on various dielectric materials. The workshop is intended to facilitate the participants in acquiring knowledge and information on latest standards/test procedures and various methods of evaluation of test results to diagnose the strength of dielectric materials for HV equipments.
The participants are also intended to be exposed to the practical demonstration on high voltage testing of dielectric materials in the laboratory which will benefit them in understanding the high voltage test and measurement techniques.
Who should attend:
The workshop is open to all concerned in the field of electrical engineering in general. This will be useful to the personnel involved in the following areas of work:
- High voltage equipment manufacturers/quality assurance engineers.
- Electrical utility engineers involved in testing, inspection, operation & maintenance etc. Teaching faculty, Research scholars and students.
- Installation, testing, inspection and commissioning engineers

Registration Fee: Rs. 50/- per participant.
