The Institute of Engineers organized the 3rd edition of the Mega Textile Series TANA BANA on July 20, 2024, at the Institution of Engineers, Mahida Bhawan Building in Surat. Kotak Bank was the Banking partner for the programme. Garden Silk Mills Pvt Ltd served as the Industry Partner, while MANTRA and SMA were the Knowledge Partners. Textile Insights Magazine took on the role of Media Partner, Brahmani Tea provided hospitality, and Buzzhub Consultancy Private Limited managed publicity. This series aims to strengthen the textile industry at the grassroots level by providing a platform for textile entrepreneurs to learn and discuss techno-commercial topics that impact profitability and productivity. It also facilitates connections between textile entrepreneurs and leading professionals and leaders in the textile industry.

The programme began with Welcome Speech by Chairman of IEI Surat Dr. Shivanand Suryavanshi, followed by address of Er Subhash J Ghelani, Chairman of Gujarat State Centre of IEI. Dr. Hitesh Jariwala Dy Director of MANTRA elaborated on the inception of the series. CA Shri Meherzad Turel, Zonal Business Manager Working Capital, Gujarat, MP , Chattisgarh Kotak Bank explained the various options available for an entrepreneur to grow his business through financing. During the programme Dr. K D Panchal, past Honorary Secretary of Institute of Engineers was also felicitated for completing his Doctorate successfully. Shri Sanjay Sharma, VP at Garden Silk Mills Private Limited, Shri Neeraj Shah Honorary Secretary at Gujrat State Center of IEI and Shri Nitin Oza President of SMA graced the dias with their presence. Proceedings were conducted by Er Sandeep Dangi Honorary Secretary of IEI, Surat.
