Programme on Empowering Women for International Trade through E-Learning

The Institution of Engineers(India) South Gujarat Local Centre organised programme on Empowering Women for International Trade Through E- Learning under the aegis of Computer Engineering Division in association with INDO THAI Chamber of MSMEs’ and supported by The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Surat Management Association (SMA) and SME Growth Foundation, on 5th December 2023 at 3:00PM

Suryawanshi, Chairman, Mr. Sandeep Dangi, Honorary Secretary of IE(I)SGLC, Ms. Ekkttaa Tulsiyan, Director – Tripoor Sciences, Key note Expert Speaker, Shri Dashratj ji, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Expert Speaker Mr. Bhautik Sheth, Digital Marketing Strategist & Trainer Guest of Honour Mr. Ramesh Vaghasia, President The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce shared the dais.
The program was started with prayer and lighting of lamp. All dignitaries on the dais were felicitated with flowers and bouquet. Dr. S. R. Suryawanshi, Chairman South Gujarat Local Centre-Surat IEI delivered the welcome address a welcomed dignitaries, all participants also. Mr Rohit Mehta, President Indo Thai Chamber of MSME’s, spoke about the need for such a program and provided assurance to further help women entrepreneurs in terms of counseling and consulting for international trade. Shri Vijay Mevawala, (Vice President Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry), delivered an encouraging speech and extended all support from the chamber, whenever required. He made a presentation on the Mission 84 of SGCCI. All the sessions were delivered then after as per the schedule by experts from relevant fields. Keynote Speaker : 1 Shri Dashratj ji, Director Director General Foreign Trade, Surat gave a presentation on the various efforts and support provided by the DGFT to encourage export Import trade. Shri Dashratj Ji is mainly focused on The importing and exporting activity of a country can influence the country’s GDP, its exchange rate, and its level of inflation and interest rates.  A country’s importing and exporting activity can influence its GDP, its exchange rate, and its level of inflation and interest rates. A rising level of imports and a growing trade deficit can have a negative effect on a country’s exchange rate. A weaker domestic currency stimulates exports and makes imports more expensive; conversely, a strong domestic currency hampers exports and makes imports cheaper. Higher inflation can also impact exports by having a direct impact on input costs such as materials and labor.
Expert Speaker Mr Bhautik Sheth, Digital Marketing Strategist & Trainer on E learning, illuminated the session with invaluable insights, sparking keen interest among woman entrepreneurs. Mr. Bhautik Sheth explained What is E learning? E- learning – also called electronic learning or Web based training – is anywhere, anytime instruction delivered over the internet or a corporate. Contrary to traditional learning method, e- learning lets students, employees in training and casual learners participate in an organized learning experience regardless of their physical location.
Why is E learning important ? E-learning methods and technology are important both for education students and for the professional development of employees in the workforce. Mr. Bhautik Sheth also informed a advantages of e-learning.
